Job Description 

Sheils Motor Group is Ireland's leading Ford and Honda dealership with dealerships in Galway, Clare and Limerick. Following our recent acquisition of Motorpark Galway, we require an experienced Senior Sales Executive / Brand Manager with a proven track record in vehicle sales for our Galway dealership. Sheils Motor Group was established almost 100 years ago. 

Brand Management 

No previous management experience is required as all necessary management supports are in place and all necessary on the job management training will be provided. 

Senior Sales Executive 

We are looking for a sales executive with proven exceptional sales ability. Combining outstanding sales performance with outstanding customer satisfaction performance is the crucial requirement for this position. 

A remuneration package comprising of an industry beating salary combined with an exceptional sales and profit performance related commission structure will be put in place for the successful candidate.

Third/Fourth Year Apprentice

Location: Sheils Motorpark, Headford Road, Galway City

Job Description

We are currently recruiting a third/ fourth year apprentice motor mechanic to join their Galway City Ford and Honda workshop. You will be working in a busy fully equipped workshop with a team of dedicated professionals.

The key responsibilities for the role will include:

  • Be responsible ensuring customer vehicles are maintained and repaired in an efficient time manner and in accordance with manufacturer guideline
  • Developing your skills as a motor mechanic is an important part of your role at Sheils Motorpark
  • You will learn about the latest innovative engine technology, have access to a wide range of diagnostic equipment and tooling and be provided with industry training to continuously progress your career
  • Full clean driving licence required

Motor Technician

Location: Sheils Motorpark, Headford Road, Galway City

We are are currently recruiting a motor technician to join their busy Galway City Honda dealership. The successful candidate will diagnose, repair and service vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications, ensuring each customer receives excellent customer service.

The key responsibilities for the role will include:

  • Through the use of diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach, ensure vehicle faults are diagnosed and rectified. Meet with customers to identify and clearly understand problems as and when required
  • Ensure full understanding of latest technology introduced on the vehicle range and how to diagnose and repair faults on them
  • Carry out diagnosis, repairs and servicing to the highest standards and to the appropriate specification
  • Ensure all work is carried out observing safe working practices of self and others
  • Liaise and seek advice from colleagues and supervisors in situations that are over and above work specified
  • Check level and quality of work through use of diagnostic equipment and road-testing vehicles after work has been carried out. Liaise with Service Advisor
  • Complete relevant service documentation (Job sheets, PDI’s, service reports
  • Ensure that workshop housekeeping standards are maintained including the use of special and personal tools

Must have a full clean driving licence and be fully qualified as a vehicle technician.
